Artistic Polar Bear Challenge: 100 Ways In 100 Days. #51 - Cubism

Hot on the very colorful heels of Fauvism came Expressionism, where artists like Vassily Kandinsky and Franz Marc used psychological color testing as a basis for a primary color symbolism system.  Pablo Picasso employed a limited color palette for personal expression.

Picasso went on to apply altered perception and multiple viewpoints in his work.  In this Cubist period, color was merely there to imply geometric structure.
