Artistic and Physical Steps

A quick update from the art front:

Another layer of color, and another isolation coat.

And from the canine front:

My dear 'FrankenDog' is able to shuffle around with our assistance and the aid of a  supportive sling.  At times I feel like I have a very large, mostly furry, and definitely indignant purse hanging from the straps over my arm as we stroll around the yard.

My Muse is putting one foot in front of the other.  To increased mobility, and beyond!

I've been thinking about your girl and was happy to see her picture. The great thing about our pets, is they trust you utterly and aren't held back by wondering if they're going to ever get better or other anxieties. What we could all learn from dogs. Continued luck and recovery to you all.

Thanks so much for keeping her in your thoughts, Terri. Their resilience is amazing, isn't it? Even though I'm walking her around with a sling, she still wants to chase squirrels and play ball. Yes, we could learn a lot from them.

I have a similarly "saddle stitched" dog, but his sewing is on his leg!
Dogs make wonderful 'patients' and your sweetie will recover and be good as new.
Great paintings!!!

Thanks Leslie, for the complement and the good wishes. It IS a 'saddle stitch', isn't it? That just made me laugh! She is getting better, hopefully we'll attain 'good as new' status someday.
